Anti- ragging awareness week 2025

On 12th August 2024, the Student Council members of SMCON organized a poster making competition under the guidance of Mrs. Shashirani Pangambam, Associate Professor, SMCON, on the occasion of Anti-Ragging Awareness Week that was observed from 12th August to 18th August 2024. All the students of 1st semester, 3rd semester, 5th semester, and 7th semester participated enthusiastically.
There were a total of 17 participants. The judges for the event were: Mrs. Pranita Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, SMCON, Mrs. Karma Doma Bhutia, Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, SMCON, and Ms. Pintso Doma Lepcha, Tutor, Department of Mental Health Nursing, SMCON.
The event was graced by Prof. Champa Sharma, Principal, SMCON, Prof. Ranjita Devi, Vice-Principal, SMCON, and Prof. Binita Khati, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology & Student’s Coordinator, SMCON. The program was followed by a speech by the Principal and a prize distribution ceremony. The winners were felicitated with medals and certificates, while all participants received certificates of participation and appreciation.
