Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy organized its 4th Annual Day Program on 17th April 2025. Since the past few years, Annual Day has been a monumental event greatly anticipated by students and staff alike. An amalgamation of music, culture, and vibrant colours.

The program saw the presence of the following esteemed dignitaries gracing the occasion.

Event

1.    The event started with a detailed walkthrough of previous year's achievements by students, alumni, and staff in academic, sports, cultural, research and development by Principal SMCPT Prof. Nikita Joshi Sonowal

2.    Followed by the felicitation of meritorious faculties and  students from the undergraduate and postgraduate program securing distinction marks in subjects, full attendance and toppers securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank in last year university exams were applaud and awarded with medals and recognition. Students who represented SMCPT at state, national and international level were also felicitated for their exceptional performances and being flag bearers upholding the college's reputation.

3.    Smcpt also established its first Student Council to foster communication between students, faculty, and administration, ensuring that student perspectives were considered in institutional decisions. SMCPT aims to promote a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and active participation in school governance.

4.    Respected Chief Guest Air Vice Marshal Dr. Dilip Chandra Agarwal, VSM, Vice Chancellor SMU addressed the gathering with his presence, and kind words which have always been a guiding light to our students and team

5.    The program was then paused for a brief tea break followed by a cultural program filled with fanfare and joy with back-to-back enthralling dance, song and musical performances forged with the talented students of SMCPT.

6.    The outgoing batch of BPT interns were facilitated as well.

7.    Finally, the program closed with an enthralling cultural program.
