Three senior wing cadets from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) participated in an eight days’ Drone Training Capsule - 3 held at the National Cadet Corps Air Training Institute, Behala from 9th to 16th October 2025. The program was funded by the office of the Director General National Cadet Corps and conducted in collaboration with NCC Air Training Institute, Behala. A total of 40 cadets from the West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate took part in the camp, including three cadets from SMIT. Participants underwent practical training in drone under the supervision of national-level instructors. The course focused on developing teamwork, leadership, endurance, and drone flying skills. The program provided an opportunity for cadets to experience professional drone training in a controlled environment while fostering discipline and confidence. The NCC Unit, SMIT, extends sincere gratitude to DG NCC, NCC Air Training Institute - Behala, and Mr. Ish Nath Jha, Teacher Coordinator, for their guidance and support in making this experience successful and enriching.
