At SMIT, the curriculum is designed to ensure that students don’t just learn from classrooms but from the industry itself. Our industry-immersive education model enables students to spend an extended duration working with leading organizations, gaining hands-on experience that shapes them into confident, job-ready professionals.
Undergraduate students undertake 6–12 months of industry engagement during their final semester, while postgraduate students spend 10–12 months in their second year working directly with industry mentors. This immersive exposure allows learners to explore domains of their interest, sharpen their technical and interpersonal skills, and develop true industry readiness.
This model has earned strong appreciation from top recruiters. Many organizations consistently select our students for long-term internships, and a significant number of these opportunities are converted into full-time roles, a testament to the competence, adaptability, and performance of our learners.
