The NEP Saarthis of
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) organized an NEP-themed Photo
Booth on 30th April 2025 as part of the Annual Day celebrations at
SMIT. The initiative, conducted under the National Education Policy (NEP)
Saarthi program, aimed to engage students with the core ideas of NEP 2020
in an interactive and visually appealing manner.
The photobooth
installation was a collaborative effort between the NEP Saarthis and the Art
Club of SMIT, bringing together creative design and educational purpose. The
booth featured vibrant visuals of NEP 2020. Through this creative setup,
students were introduced to the learner-centric vision of NEP 2020 in a fun and
memorable way.
The booth quickly became
a popular attraction, with students across departments enthusiastically
participating, taking multiple pictures, and sharing their experiences with
each other. The blend of art and education not only made the concept more
accessible but also sparked curiosity and conversation around the
transformational goals of NEP 2020. This format of expression succeeded in
spreading awareness in an engaging format, leaving a lasting impression on all
attendees.
